Walk For Your Neighbor & Block Party - Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 2-5 PM

We are asking you to rally your friends, family, and networks to support our work in meeting the needs of our neighbors in crisis. By becoming a fundraiser for Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry, you will help individuals and families in our community, and you'll help your friends feel good about doing good. Our ministry will donate 5% of the total funds raised to Black Mountain Counseling Center and another 5% will be given to Food Connection Asheville. These are amazing local organizations impacting the lives of our neighbors in ways we hope to support.

WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

This year's event will take place Sunday, October 8th, from 2 to 5 p.m with registration opening at 1 pm. Block Party to follow the walk. We will have Food Trucks, live music, a family fun station for kids, games like cornhole, can jam, etc. We hope to see you there!

LOCATION: First Baptist Church, 130 Montreat Road | Black Mountain
